Returning from meeting hell
Monday through Wednesday of this week I was trapped in the hell of
endless meetings. We were hosting a three day conference and I was one
of the session chairs. Basically this meant I was at work from 6:30am
to 6:30pm all three days. Getting to work by 6:30am means getting up by
4:30am and both boys had colds this week so they weren't sleeping well,
therefore I was feeling rather zombie like by Wednesday afternoon. I'm
better now though. Today there's a trick or treating event at the
office so I'll be taking the boys around Mitre this afternoon. I'm
essentially getting nothing done at work today, but I'm not feeling too
guilty about it after the first half of this week.
Tonight we're leaving the boys at grandma's and heading out to dinner at Oyamel's which should be fun. Tomorrow I'll be doing the final yard work for the year. Mowing and fertilizing mainly. I also have to finish protecting the willow trees from the deer. They've been using the willow trees on our septic field as antler scratchers and rubbing all the bark off the trees. I put a bunch of big metal poles around each tree, but I want to add some wire around that just to make sure.
