One day, I'll become a dictator and have things done MY way if they can not be done right
Today, a bill banning abortion under any conditions passed it's second reading in the parliament. To make it law, it will have to pass another one. If it actually does, abortion will be illegal even in circumstances when the pregnancy causes risk to mother's life or the fetus is so damaged that the baby will die shortly after birth. It is absolutely horrible. While the leader of main party called the bill absurd, many members of his party actually voted for it. While twenty years ago a protestation march against a harsher anti-abortion law gathered roughly 100.000 people, this time only about 1000 demostrants came. It's very sad.
For not so dark thoughts, I prevealed a few chapters of "Pandora Hearts". I love this manga, it constantly became one of my favourites. Cute art style, lots of characters with distinctive personalities and huge levels of creepiness are something that took a piece of my heart at once. The Rabbit is amazing, but I wouldn't mind if she showed her scary side more often than the tsundere side. I also completely fell in love with Gilbert. He is a character that has some of my favourite personality traits, especially his undying devotion and loyalty to his friend Oz won my admiration. I really would love to see them as a couple, but unfortunately it was impossible from the beginning (OzAlice was pretty obvious even before they developed any bond), and Gilbert's happy ending would equal Rabbit's death, or at least this is how I see it, plus the large age difference is kind of disturbing. I hope that at least the non-evil characters won't die terrible deaths. :(
