Mr. Gembis,
I can remember when you first became a teacher here. For some reason I knew I would like you as a person and I was completely right. The hall ways aren’t going to be the same while I walk by your room and expect to give you a high five or get some funny remark about my nose ring and your not there. I am truly sad to see you go. I know that wherever you go and who ever you teach for they are going to be lucky to have you as a teacher, I never got that privilege, even though you were my homeroom. It’s funny how I never did have you as a teacher but you always seemed to be there when I needed to get something done and you always asked me how I was doing, acted like you cared. It really meant a lot to me when you took time out of your day to be interested in how I was doing. Thanks for everything you have done. Even when you would joke with me before the national anthem, you were always doing something to cheer me up, or make me not be so nervous. It’s crazy to think that I am really graduating and you know what, you better come back to my graduation, June 4th and my Grad. Party is June 3rd. Be proud you’re the first teacher to be invited! You know some of my teachers have moved away, just like you are now, but I never got to see them again and I hope that it’s different with you. Don’t be a stranger. So this isn’t Goodbye, or else it better not be. I will see around sometime. Good Luck in the future, at your new school, with your new wife, house, town, Good luck with Life. I will be praying for you and your future. Take Care and don’t forget me Kay!
