Lena Austen has been turned into her six-year-old self. It was a shock to wake up and discover she was no longer a woman in her twenties and instead, the child version of her. She's retained enough memories to recognize people from her adult life, but her mannerisms and her way of thinking are now that of a six-year-old. It's quite a dilemma. That's not exactly what's preoccupying, however. What is preoccupying is a wand has appeared in front of her, recognizing her as its owner. A shiny star-shaped wand that seems to work.
She's just walking around with that wand, all over the city, pointing it at people. If they ask for something, the wand seemingly grants it to them. Absolutely anything could happen, really. Approach this tiny child with caution.
John Callahan is concerned. Everyone around him has been given something via Rift in some way or another, but what's truly preoccupying is he hasn't seen Sonny throughout the week. There has honestly been no sign of him, and that's odd. Sonny rarely leaves the Crowbar and if he does, it's always business related. He can chalk it up to Sonny also having been affected, but Sonny never has been chosen as a target for the Rift.
On his way to finding Sonny (or afterward, whichever works), John will find himself in front of a mirror. A talking mirror that moves by itself. A snarky talking mirror that is telling him, attractive though he may be, he is "not the fairest of them all!" If anyone is walking past, the mirrow might be talking to them, too.
Rachel Banks has been having a very odd day. Everything that she owns has found itself misplaced. She found a talking cat that was all too familiar, and for the past hour she was lost in what seemed like an endless maze she couldn't find her way out of. Once she did, she thought the coast would be clear, but this is not the case.
There is a rabbit hole that she will inevitably fall into, and whoever is nearby will also find themselves sucked in. They will find themselves anywhere in the city, but it won't look like it, having been transformed entirely by the Rift. Apologies!
The last movie Sarah Monroe watched with Elizabeth Jules before she died was Tangled. It's almost fitting, then, when an invitation with the kingdom's emblem falls on her lap this evening. Literally. It says to be at Navy Pier at midnight--you'll find what you're looking for and you can make a wish. She will not be the only one to receive an invitation, however. Many across the city would've stumbled upon a similar invitation, enticing them with a wish to be granted.
At precisely midnight, thousands of floating lanterns will be released up into the sky, making one of the most beautiful sights, lighting up the whole
city. It's thirty minutes before midnight, and Sarah's at the Pier. Flowers in her hair, white floor length dress, her wings out, she looks more like a faerie than she does an angel.
