Shawn Spencer is a little mad at the Rift right now.

It's not a common thing for him, so it feels a little strange, but the fact that it feels the right to just blurt his secrets out all over the place is so very not cool. The fact that it made him do it himself? Even less of a fan.

But the secret's out now, and there's not much he can do about it. All there is picking up, moving forward, and hoping that not too many of his future clients see it. Or that Lassie doesn't mysteriously show up this week.

Regardless, he's throwing himself into other things. There is his sneaky surprise for Anne, which has him sitting in Grant Park with his weiner mobile, giving out hot dogs to those who want them, and mentally planning a birthday party for his best sleuth pal. Whether Veronica wants it or not -- there will be a party. Shawn will definitely see to that.

Elsewhere in Chicago, Don Flack is at the grocery store.

He has just had a meal at one of the local restaurants, and he's trying to recreate it himself, which means he needs ingredients. Hence, grocery store. He's sticking to the organic sections -- they make better meals, in his opinion, but he's keeping an eye out for anything that could turn this into a flop. He's also not paying attention to where he's walking, which could prove to be a bit of a problem.

If you happen to collide with this particular detective, he apologizes in advance.

Finally, Sara Ellis is very confused.

Last she remembers, she was walking out of June's building in the middle of Manhattan, New York City, and the next thing she knows, she's standing in the middle of Chicago, still clutching the bags she had brought with her after leaving Neal's place. She has had a rough day. She's not in the mood to be playing musical cities, never mind the fact that she isn't entirely sure how she got here in the first place, and that unsettles her more than anything else.

She stops right where she is, middle of a sidewalk, tears still drying against her cheeks as she tries to figure out what exactly had happened. People bustle around her, and she backs slowly towards the nearest building. When her back finally hits the brick, she freezes, watching as the people pass her by, and unsure as to what she's even supposed to do.

"What the hell just happened?" she whispers softly, wanting to get out of here and back to New York as soon as possible.
