After much harassment from a certain fae, Mio is actually taking some time to rest and allow herself to recuperate some from all of the strain she's put herself under ever since Iris was attacked. She's barely even seen Ianto lately, and she's really begun to miss spending time with him. She's not really up to a night on the town right nowm so she suggested they order some take-out and commandeer some furniture and a projector and have a little private movie night up in one of those empty conference rooms on the upper floors of the Tower instead.

Ever since Iris died, Mio's been in a bit of a slump. Well, if she's really going to be honest with herself, a lot of a slump. She'd been running on fumes for weeks before Aurora talked some sense into her and convinced her to try to rest up and conserve her strength, she still wasn't operating anywhere near peak efficiency. And since Iris died, there just didn't seem to be any point. She just wanted to crawl under the covers and sleep for a week right now. Maybe then she'd have energy to care again.
But even if she was sleeping most of the day the past few days, she still had to eat, so that's why she's in the kitchen at 3 AM frying up some bacon, sausage, and eggs. High-protein foods have always helped her get her strength back before, especially after overexerting her powers. Despite her mood, she certainly wouldn't mind making some food for anyone else who happens to wander into the kitchen.

With Mio being so busy and/or depressed recently, Uchiko-chan has been feeling a bit neglected and lonely, so she's been busy exploring Chicago. Which is why she's currently in Millenium Park trying to climb on the Millenium Falcon that crash-landed into the Bean sculpture a while back. If anyone gets close, she'll cheerfully wave and grin at them.
