Early in the afternoon, Remus Lupin is in the cafeteria of the Kashtta. There's a cup of tea going cold in front of him, and a book next to it, but his attention is on the paper in front of him. Several sheets are taped together to make one large paper, and Remus is sketching a map of the Kashtta. It's entirely from memory, without much attention payed to scale, but this exercise is as much to get used to the pen that came with his journal as it is to get down a rough map of what he's explored.

And later on, close to sunset, Nick Andros is sitting in Grant Park. He keeps finding himself back there; he's not sure why, just that when he lets himself wander, it's where he ends up. He's lost in thought, scribbling notes to himself into his notebook, but he looks content as he writes.
