[OOC: Happy Three Year Anniversary one and all! You know the drill except this time you'll likely only be able to comment in on one thread depending on your characters locations. However, there can be aftermath threads as well as multiple during threads. I imagine anyone snowed in at the Tower could have multiple threads with others at the Tower.

She hasn't left the building in sometime and even now, she still doesn't plan to. She's been anxiously watching the snow grow fiercer and fiercer outside, watching as people hurry inside for shelter. She's worried for her friends, unsure if they're going to get back to the Tower or not.
While no one may be able to see her, they'll definitely be able to feel her. The narration apologises now for anyone who accidentally knocks into her and gets a fright.

If Kafuka were here, the girl would have much to say about this. Chiri would too. But their insanity is neither needed, nor wanted.

"I'm really sorry," she says, "I was kind of in my own world there. ...Are you alright?"

If she were invisible -- actually invisible -- she gets close enough, but this--
"Have you ever been in love?" Matoi asks, suddenly the picture of adorable.

She blinks, startled by the question, "I... Well," she frowns a little, "I was once, but it was quite some time ago,"
It's the whole cliché: first boyfriend, first love. It ended some three years ago. "Why do you ask?"

Matoi pauses, thinking about that for a moment. She tilts her head to the side, soft noise, but no words coming from her lips.
"I always thought being invisible was the power of love," she says simply. "Perhaps there are other ways of being invisible as well. It is not that important."
Reply
"Is that because love's invisible too?" she asks her. "Like, you can't see it - but you know it's there?"
She bites down on her lower lip, "I'm invisible because I choose to be. I'm ... a little sad. It's easier not being seen," It's easier to hide, to have the freedom of walking in the crowds and knowing that certain people won't be able to find you.

Stranger things have happened, really.
He shrinks under his already-too big jacket at the thought, then experimentally reaches out. When his hand touches what he thinks feels like a human arm, he blinks. "Hello?"

When she finally looks up once more, the smiles weakly at the familiar face. Well, at least there's someone she knows that's safe here.
But as he reaches out and touches her arm, there's a slight shiver of discomfort. She hasn't had much interaction with anyone lately, she feels wary with contact. It's nothing personal, Dan.
"Hello, Daniel," she says after a long pause.

Invisible, apparently.
That's new.
He squints, headtilting at the spot where Cassie should be, but isn't. "Are you alright?"

She's silent for a long time, almost unsure of how to answer his question. She ruffles the hair at the side of her head with a frown, debating on what to say.
"Not too bad," she utters, the strain of a smile in her voice. "I was just waiting, looking to see if friends are finding shelter here,"
And then she frowns, "Are you going outside?"

Part of him wishes he could do what Cassie does and just make himself invisible. But that wouldn't fix much.
"Pretty bad out there, huh?"
Reply
"It is," she steps forward, just close enough to him let him know where she is. She doesn't feel like becoming visible again just yet. "Think the rift's done it? It's definitely not me, this time,"
She smiles weakly, but it goes unseen. "How have you been?"
