It is not an unreasonable hour to be awake. In fact, it’s perfectly understandable.
However, when you take into account the fact that someone has been awake for nearly twenty four hours and has had little besides coffee to drink, it becomes a little bit more dubious.
Spencer is by the coffee maker, drinking a cup that has more sugar and milk in it than should probably be allowed in a drink called ‘coffee’.
Nothing’s keeping him awake, nothing’s disturbing him, he’s just not sure what to do with himself. It’s starting to get to him a little and considering it’s either do this or wander aimlessly around Chicago, he figures sticking close to the coffee is the way to go.
So pay no mind to the sleep-deprived fellow at the table, he’s just trying to get by.
