Gwen starts a little and looks up, nudging her laptop gently to one side. "The door's unlocked," she calls, head tilted to one side. If whoever it is has something to tell her that can take her mind off the thing she's been fixating on, she will be grateful for it.

...she wouldn't think that if she knew what that something is.

Ianto steps into the office, shutting the door behind him.

"I was just wondering if this would be a good time to talk. There's... a potential security breach that needs to be addressed."

He manages to keep most of the nervousness out of his face and voice, but some creeps in anyway, and he has to fight the urge to straighten his tie. It's perfectly straight, and he knows it's perfectly straight, as he straightened it himself just a few minutes ago.

...No, this is not going to be an easy conversation.

She frowns, and sits up a little straighter, eyeing him with uneasy surprise. Ianto's good at hiding things, but not enough for her to miss that nervousness, the tension. She glances to the folder in his hands, and back up to his face. God, please don't let this be about Jack...

"Now's fine," she says, and motions to the chair in front of her desk. "Go ahead."

Ianto shakes his head slightly at the offer of the chair. He may have become used to sitting down with goat's legs, but there's something slightly awkward about it, still. Besides, for this conversation, he'd rather stand ( ... )
