She knows she went to far
Dr. Katherine Kirschenbaum will be celebrating her birthday soon. In the Bahamas. No one at work, or among her acquaintances knows she's going because her acquisition of said tickets would be quite questionable on her salary. But right now, alone in a coffee shop, she's perfectly happy to look over the fliers. If anyone who actually knew her showed up, she could just say she was dreaming.
