Sylar - or, more appropriately at this point in time, Gabriel Gray is back to his usual bespectacled self, looking around nervously as he proceeds to walk into the coffee shop. He can't remember bits and pieces of the past week, but what he can remember reeks of Sylar and leaves a bitter taste in his mouth. He's not even sure who he's spoken to - or who Sylar's spoken to, more accurately, but he does remember slightly blurred faces, one of whom feels more familiar than most of the others.

He's not going to think about that now, though. Instead, he's going to sit in the shop with a newspaper and a cup of coffee and peruse the wanted ads. He's going to need some form of employment sooner or later.

Fred is practically dancing down the halls of the Conrad, humming softly under her breath. Her good mood isn't completely out-of-character - in fact, quite the opposite. However, she does seem a little cheerier than normal, and anyone who knows any part of what's been going on with her lately will likely know why. Anyone who doesn't?

Well, she's just an incredibly giddy former physics student who will happily answer any and all inquiries into her current mood. Or even what the name is of the song she's humming.

Sam is also in a very good mood as he heads over to the diner. It's never too early for food, as Dean would say, and since he's pretty sure his brother won't be getting out of bed any time in the next century, he figures he'll bring back some hearty brunch. The smell of eggs and bacon should lift Dean out of his bed like some kind of levitation trick.

He smiles fondly at the thought as he pushes through the door, the small bell ringing overhead to announce his presence, and slides into one of the swiveling stools at the diner's long table.

Avery's just put out the board listing the special drinks for tonight's shift at the Luna. Inside, it's still pretty slow, but a Friday night automatically means that the bar will pick up a decent crowd in no time at all. She'll be standing behind the bar doing inventory, should anyone come in and need an early start to their weekend.

Ask nicely and she might even join you in a drink or two.

Last, but certainly not least, Teddy - well, for a guardian angel who just managed to pick up her very own ward, she's not too happy. She thought she was going to be immune from that for a few more years, at least. Thankfully, this guy - Sirius - well, he doesn't seem to be a complete idiot like many of the wanderers she's had the misfortune of running into already.

She's sitting by the fountain in the park, occasionally turning her face towards it to let stray drops brush over her face.
