[ooc: backdated to the last entry in Eilir’s journal/two weeks ago. Tags will be slow-timed since I still don’t have internet at my new apt.]
Whenever Eilir hunts or scouts she puts everything else to back of her mind. There may be a dozen other immediate things to worry about, but they all fly to the edges of her perceptions. She’s noticed the change in landscape, and additional abilities, hasn’t diminished this. She doesn’t know how her new extracurricular will affect her teaching at the archery range or other elements of the life she has built here, but she checks the concern and files it away for later. She’s touring the dock district along lake Michigan tonight. Though she took note of the district upon her arrival in Chicago, she’s not familiar with it. Tonight’s the first she’s really begun to check it out and become acquainted. She doesn’t yet know what kind of activity to expect. If her tour of the docks are uneventful, she’ll probably head down to the boardwalk where she knows people congregate. She bought a long fall coat yesterday to help camouflage her weapons, and it’s currently playing double-duty shielding her from the wind off the lake.
