There is a new face in the common room today. Very new, in fact, as in he just arrived earlier this morning. Currently, he’s sitting in a chair in a far corner, watching everyone and trying to be inconspicuous, contemplating the insanity that is his life that brought him here... And, no, for once it had nothing to do with the Rift.
Being told that the streets aren’t safe is an obvious statement. He’s known that for years and he still lives on them. It’s better than living with Foster Family #7 (or is it #8?), but apparently getting offered to come live at the Conrad Hotel was an even better option than that... And, hell, he was curious about what’s been going on down here anyway (you keep your eyes open, you'd probably notice something was up if you happen to be connected to the supernatural), so that explains his presence here.
Well... Actually, what explains his presence here is what he can do, although not exceedingly well (and he was drilled repeatedly to pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease avoid taking out the electricity in the building, whether by accident or intentionally because of that), but apparently manipulating electricity here in a more stable environment is better than getting into street fights and taking out city blocks accidentally (that only happened once as far as he knows- maybe twice).
So now Jasper Harris, Electric Elemental, is here in the Conrad Hotel basement, and sparks will probably fly because of it.
...Yes, the narration deserves to be shot for that bad joke.
