So he found a job.

It wasn't the best paying job, if one were looking for instant gratification: new apartment, new car, brand-new clothes and all, but he enjoyed it, and it payed, and it would lead to something more if he kept at it. "It" was translating: manuscripts, poetry, somebody's crazy, fevered ramblings. For whoever was willing to pay, Ben was willing to translate.

He's found his knowledge of Arabic has come in handy, and it's text in Arabic he's translating, now, in his usual cafe haunt. He has a cup of honest-to-goodness coffee, no shots of espresso included. Sleep's improved since he's gotten a handle on his telekinisis.
