"You know, I'd ask what a nice girl like you is doing out in lousy weather like this, except - one? That's a pathetically cheesy line if ever there was one, and two? Knowing the way the world works, I'd probably get a kick to the groin for it, and that only if I was lucky."

He's cute, but she has a boyfriend. Or something. And she's not in the mood either.

She pauses. "Want me to show you?" Because the cold isn't making her mood any better. And she wants coffee. Spiked with alcohol that's in her bag. That would make this day much better.
