Wake up in the morning--I shall wake up and so shall you

She doesn't know if it's a good idea to wait until late to leave. She doesn't know if she would be better off waiting for morning, finding an angel, not doing this at all.

And then she thinks about Huck, Huck and the pack she still hasn't met, Huck taking care of all of them alone--Huck and her pack getting caught in a fire like the ones they've been playing clips of all day.

She's fighting the urge to turn into a dog the moment she's out of the Conrad's front doors. That, she knows, would be stupid. So stupid. Ruvin listens to the near-empty street until her ears start ringing from the quiet. She dodges away from the doors, moves quickly across the street, breaks into a not-quite-run on the opposite walk.

She thought she was brave. She thought she was brave, before this.

plot: election, monsters, huck freak, ruvin, plot: game-wide, npc
