It's Christmas, and if Cy can't have her friends for it, she'll have... well. Every other cat she can find. The Casa's living room is packed with strays and ferals, milling nervously, presided over by a human kitty wearing her new coat. Every scrap of food she could figure out how to open the packaging for is spread out for the cats to enjoy--and ( Read more... )

If Marshall hasn't been seen since the epic Christmas Day surprise... He has a legitimate excuse as he has THINGS. VERY IMPORTANT THINGS. Although he does have to eat sometime and, well, if he pokes around in the lounge and rests for a bit, that probably wouldn't be too much of an issue.

So there's a Marshall wandering in with a doughnut, and he seems very surprised to see an Abby there.

"Oh hi!" He says around a mouthful of doughnut so it sounds mildly garbled and waving a bit, which thankfully gets the sentiment across if the words didn't come through.

She looks up, a bit surprised, but grins and returns the wave. "Hullo. Abby. Once you won't choke you can introduce yourself--you've been here a while?"

At the sound of her voice, Rex pokes his head out from under the blanket, giving an inquisitive (and half-asleep) little croak.

Marshall swallows. "Marshall Flinkman. You... You new around here? I don't think I've seen you around, which is weird, because I normally see everyone." He jerks his thumb towards the door. "My office is actually in the CCTV room, so I pretty much see everyone... Which sounded far more creepy that it should have."

Marshall will notice the ickle dinosaur when he is finished flailing a bit. Poor Marshall.

Abby ducks her head to keep from laughing. By the time she looks up, she's schooled her expression well enough that she probably won't crack up if he continues to geek!flail at her. Yes, Marshall, she knows your kind.

"Yeah, I am. Showed up two days before Christmas, if you can believe that luck."
