In the sub-basement of the Kashtta Tower, there's a flare from the Rift, and a woman stumbles out in an EarthForce uniform... Not that anyone here would recognize it for what it is.
Commander Susan Ivanova was going back to her quarters. Now she's in an unfamiliar room that looks half-finished at best. It also looks like something you'd find underground, not on a space station.
...This is not good.
And she has just enough time to finish that thought before she feels it. Something's watching her, something's damn well scanning her, pushing through all the blocks she's set up, and it sees her...
Psi Corps.
That's the first thing she thinks of... that somehow they've found her, they know...
She wants to scream, to cower, but she just takes a deep breath, and, though it's not likely it'll help, tries to activate the link bonded to the back of her hand. Maybe she's seeing things, maybe it's an illusion, maybe it's a really strangely designed ship... maybe G'kar and Londo will get married tomorrow, but she has to try.
"C&C, this is Ivanova. Do you read me? ...C&C? ...Damnit."
No fear in her voice. Not much fear, anyway, for all that she can feel the scream crawling up her throat. Have to get out, have to get out NOW...
She turns. Behind her, there's something glowing and swirling, almost like a minature jumpgate. She's not going to walk through that, because something that looks like it could dump her into hyperspace without a suit isn't something she wants to step inside, though it's tempting for a moment.
Anywhere not-here is tempting.
She's still not screaming. Possibly hyperventilating (They can SEE me, oh God...), but not screaming.
Focus.
There's what appears to be some kind of lift, and... A ladder.
Just move. One step at a time, just... Go.
But it seems to get worse with every step, the feeling of being watched, of being stripped to her most basic components, and everything's more intense than it ever was. She didn't think she could feel any telepathic tampering this intensely.
After three steps, she's on her knees (No, no, NO, get me out!). That's when she starts trying to crawl.
She may be crying, but she'll be damned if she admits to it.
"You bastards," she says... Though, truth be told, it's more like a whimper. "What do you want from me?"
[[OOC: This takes place near the end of the ball, so if your characters have gone -- and all of Torchwood did -- they'll be coming home to find her there. If they find her at all.]]
