Vaughn is sitting in a coffee shop, nervously tapping his fingers on the table. He needs Syd to get there, to make sure she's okay.
There is not one man in the world Vaughn is more afraid of than her father. Not one. Granted, he hasn't met some of the people who have come through the Rift, but no one terrifies him more and makes him feel more worthless about himself than Jack Bristow, and he knows that (in the past at least,) when Syd and Jack got together? It turned out messily. For Sydney, at least. And Jack too probably, but Vaughn doesn't really care about the way that Jack felt.
So now he's just waiting, because coffee is good and if Syd needs anything after talking to her dad... he's here for her. Or something.
