A truck rolls up in front of the Casa del OT3, and the Doctor tumbles out of it, like he... nearly always does, honestly. He's shortly followed by Donna and a small child, who he did not kidnap. He rescued her from a sketchy old man and his sexbots. That's different.
And sure, he didn't exactly tell Des or Martha he'd be coming home with a child, but surely they have to be used to this with him. Not necessarily children, but shiny things and catbeasts and the like he comes home with all the time, and this isn't so different! He wanders up to the house, smirking slightly to himself and trusting Donna to follow with the girl, and Charlie to follow if he wants.
Not bad for a day's work. ...Now he just has to figure out where exactly in Oklahoma he's going to be off to before long.
