I really wish I could have saved you

There are a number of people who have migrated f rom the TARDIS to the Kashtta after the brief non-existence of the TARDIS yesterday.

Donna Noble is not one of them. Donna has decided that the Doctor hiding inside the walls is not good for anyone, and is tracking him down with the intent of making him talk. And Donna can be very persuasive. Or, y'know, patient and difficult to move away from the door.

Maria Jackson, on the other hand, is very glad to be out of the TARDIS. Not that the TARDIS wasn't lots of fun, and very interesting, but now she can (theoretically, at least) take a day off school to do something fun. Like maybe go to the cinema with Zoe, if she can get there. And get the money to pay for the ticket. Hey, details. She's sitting on a bunk bed in an empty room that she was told is hers for the time being, watching her journal for a response to a post and playing with one of the unsolved puzzle boxes she found and stuck in her coat pockets.

She loves this coat.

In another part of the Kashtta - namely the roof of the tower - a certain guardian angel is having some alone time. No, Mat isn't thinking about jumping, or Falling. He's just thinking. About Sam, about Natasha, about Rose, about this whole fucking thing. He feels pretty damn useless right now. And he'd normally be trailing very closely behind Sam, given the state of things, but that didn't do Charlie any good with the Doctor, so Mat figures he might as well keep out of Sam's way.

Mathias is coming in to the building for the first time in almost 36 hours, looking a little pleased with himself.

And April, somehow, has found a way onto the roof of one of the wings, and is sitting perched on the corner, her legs dangling over the edge. She's still wearing the clothes she arrived in however many days ago, and she's breathing deeply, feeling the dart in her lung and giving great thought (still) to the surgery Juliet said she should have. She doesn't want to be cut on. She doesn't really have a choice. Things are complicated.

But she'd rather think about that than think about how one of Torchwood went to Him, and what they'd think of her if they knew she was jealous.

Lonely.

Any and all of these Kashtta residents (both permanent and temporary) are open to conversation, to varying degrees.
