At 3:42PM, on a street in Chicago, the TARDIS ceases to exist and takes all of her passengers with her.
At 7:20PM on the same day - and, not so coincidentally, on the same street, she springs back into existence with a distinct psychic :: {{GRUMP}} >:C ::, deeply startling the poor pedestrians who might have been wanting to use that sidewalk.
She's actually getting used to this, inasmuch as one ever really gets used to popping in and out of existence. That doesn't mean she's not deeply annoyed by it, though.
