Jack hasn't been out and about, much, since his conversation with Suzie went all to hell and took him with it. With Toshiko occupying his room at the Main Gauche, with Malek owning the room where he'd been staying, and with absolutely no desire to talk to Elashte and get the keys for yet another room (psychics goddamnit, if he never had to see another one-), he went to the next logical place not to run into anyone and found an unused basement room in one of the emptier buildings of the Gauche, somewhere in the hall neither by the center nor the ends. Basically, not a place anyone would just happen to pass by.
Since then, he's just been... thinking. Not quite brooding, though some would rush to classify that, just taking a long look at himself and (what he'd done) what had happened, and being very quiet in the corner as far from the door as he could be.
He's been in there for a while, now.
