But it made me think of Germany and the guy who sold me cigarettes

Dmitri Lang, itinerant (ex)Angel of Knowledge, is sitting cross-legged in the Main Gauche courtyard with one earbud in, listening to a handheld voice recorder and transcribing an interview into her journal for the world to see. Elashte is one of the more pleasant demons she's interviewed, but then, when a demon grants you an interview, they tend to be the more pleasant sort of demons. The man's intelligent, he's got that, and charismatic and obviously driven for something - of course, she's not going to place any bets on how much was honest-to-logic conviction and how much was a media-savvy demon chomping at the bit to get some positive press, but her job for this particular moment is to put what he says up.

The investigations and, if necessary, exposures, will come later.

She's busy, but she's also chatty, and would not mind were anyone to come talk to her. That's why the second earbud is dangling from its string.
