Okay. So for this week's question, I personally feel like people can connect to the answer, but at the same time, I think it'll make you guys think. It's a question that's been on mind for a while now.

What kind of person do you see Nino as through his song lyrics?

If you can, try to forget the things he says in interviews and how he presents himself ( Read more... )

Honestly, I find that most of his lyrics are about love. I feel like through his lyrics we get to see a little bit of him that he doesn't allow the public get any such glimpse of.
He makes himself seem as though love isn't really so important to him. He leaves the subject on a very straight line.
I don't know, I feel that he's very immature in his vision of 'love'; that even if his lover cheats, he's ok with it. But through his lyrics, it's as though he changes his mind, like he doesn't have the experience to put those borderline thoughts into words.
We know that he doesn't like to show that he cares as much, but through his lyrics I feel that we can see that he really, really does.
Nino cares a lot about the people around him, the people that care for him, too. And this comment seems very unorganized, but now I'm tying it together XD Nino cares; he tries to make himself seem like he doesn't, and maybe he thinks he doesn't, but his lyrics show a different, softer side of him.

I don't think that Nino is his lyrics, I think that they're just a part of him. It's like how some people draw, some people write stories, some people do a sport or an activity to put part of themselves into something. Because Nino cares, but because he's afraid to care, I think. And this shows in his lyrics that talk about pain or loss, or just trying to take that one step forward to where there will be a new tomorrow. I think he's trying to figure things out through his lyrics; things about himself. He's strong and confident that he will get to the next day, he organizes himself in his lyrics, sorting out the problems of the past to get them done and over with so he can go forward that one more step. He's snarky because he doesn't want this to show, at least not all the way. He knows he's strong, and he wants to show that. But at the same time he knows that there's this part of him that isn't so strong; he let's us see that through his lyrics... I think

I also think that he's trying to give his listeners a bit of advice, from his own experiences... maybe; because his lyrics also show how he's grown from that immature innocence, even though some of it is still there.

And it became incredibly unorganized as I went on, but ah well xD
