Awesome Weekend, Awesome Birthday!

Well I'm finally 20 years old and it feels like it too! This weekend was a lot of fun, especially Saturday. Friday Paul and I were supposed to have dinner with all of our families, but his parents were not feeling well and it was postponed. Instead, he came over and we spent some time together. Saturday, I went to SeaWorld with my sisters and Bobbi. It wasn't as much fun as I hoped, but it was nice to spend some time with my sisters on my birthday. Later on Saturday, Paul and I headed over to the UCF area and met up with Joe, Nicolene and Jason. We all went to Waterford and watched V for Vendetta! Awesome movie!! I recommend that everyone sees it. After the movie, we all met up with Jennifer and Phuc at Applebee’s and had a birthday dinner. The food was awesome and it was so awesome to have so many great people around on my birthday. Joe and Nicolene made me a cake and surprised me with it when we got back to Paul and Joe's apartment! Paul was so sweet and bought me so really awesome things from Bath and Body Works and a gift card to Kohls. It was a great evening, the best birthday I've had in many, many years! Sunday evening, my mom, sisters, and I went to Caraba's for birthday dinner, since I didn't spend my actual birthday with them much. It was nice to have dinner and enjoy the company of my family.

It wasn't until 10pm on Sunday night that I began studying for my Language Development test that I had this morning at 7:30am! Luckily, it wasn't very hard and it was exactly what I had studied. I realized a couple days ago, the semester is nearly over! 4 more weeks or exactly 7 more classes (for my schedule)! The finals week, and a mini break before 4 summer classes. Oh joy. So things are pretty much meshing together now. I took a break tonight, but I need to work my ass off for the rest of the week. I'm so lazy lately. I'm lacking motivation, due to the fact that only one of my classes counts towards my degree and minor now. I guess that’s what I get for changing my major mid semester.

Anywhoo.. things are going well. I'm a little disappointed that my dad forgot my birthday, or rather everyone from his side of the family. But oh well, I guess it really shows that they don't consider me part of their family any more. It’s quite sad really, since I've been in their family since I was 7 years old. It’s amazing how people treat each other sometimes. Aside from that damper, my birthday was spectacular! I hope 21 can be just as awesome!

Well hopefully I'll update with awesome test scores on Wednesday, as I should get speech science and language development scores Wednesday. Later.
