I haven't updated since October... I'm a bad LJ-er. Turns out real life has been kicking me in the ass enough, the urge to rehash it on journal form just isn't there anymore. le sigh.
Anyhow. Winter break has been nice, I had just about had it with school so it's been good to get away for a while. I've decided to stop running away from my problems (well, with a few notable exceptions). Talking to an old friend while I was home made me realize that the more you hide, the less you see everything that's out there. It's odd when someone confesses their love for you 4 years after the fact and LONG past the time when you would have thought twice about it. Still, it's sort of... comforting, I guess. To know that you are still thought of by someone who at one point meant so much to you. Just to know that it wasn't all in vain.
My new years resolution is to actually be the weight on my driver's license. If you see me eating something that will impede that goal, you have my permission to tackle me.
