On my way back home today. Leaving Vic's in around 20 mins to get bus to King's Cross and sit in the waiting room, cos I upset Carlo last night and want to be out their hair as early as I can reasonably leave for an 11:30 train.
Will be home alone a couple of nights, but need a bit of space anyway. And back to work on saturday.
Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts, it's been a tricky, sad and annoying time. The funeral ceremony was lovely though, the Rabbi gave a good speech and the hall was full of well-wishers. A definite tribute to everyone my dad touched.
And through it all, I managed to procure a promotion (and one that is only saturday-working). Somehow I now need to fill my life with things other than work, or perhaps another part-time job!
