(no subject)
First of all - Carter USM had an album of covers? I know this from getting my £3 worth of free mp3s from Amazon.co.uk today - yay, I finally have a copy of JimBob singing Hit. I am now seriously in debt to Amazon for this fact. Everyone use today wisely and grab £3 of free mp3s - they even have a ton of albums on at £3, but I wanted individual songs more. (I also got Carter's cover of Panic and Trouble - but I already have Rent, This is How it Feels and Down at the Tube Station at Midnight - which is why I didn't just buy the album).
Secondly, I kind of took a punt on a cheap laptop, but they're now on back order, so I probably won't ever get one. Still, glad I took the chance.
We had a relaxing day playing LotRO (there were loads of our guild on, it was very surreal), and eating leftover curry and then homemade pizza. Also baked a potato so I can make potato buns for breakfast today (about to go make them now, really!). Watched Dr Who (um.. ok, so I liked it more than previous years) and Strictly this morning.. I fell asleep during Dr Who at 9:30pm last night. We also finished the first series of True Blood and liked most of the chars except Sookie. Is that a problem? ;p
Today we're planning a trip into South Shields to see Inkheart and grab some lunch. Not really planning on visiting any shops - sales worry me, unless they're on the Internet. But if I get there early I might have a peek. I'm working tomorrow, and promised Chanuka doughnuts - so I might pick some of those up.
