It's time for LJ and I to part company.  This will be my last entry to show up on LJ.  It's been an amazing 12+ years but it is time to go elsewhere due to moving of the servers to Russia and their criminalization of LBGT materials.  I am exporting everything to Dreamwidth - you can find me over there under the same name.

A Mute button! This is something we've wanted on FB for ages.

You can shut off getting further comments on a post you comment on!

So go ahead and say "Congrats" then click on the little arrow to the right, and mute it. You won't see 65 other people saying the same.

FYI - LJ is having trouble sending email notifications when people comment on posts. As I understand it, they've been blacklisted as spammers by several big ISPs, like Yahoo and Comcast. And they've been working to undo that, but it takes time. It didn't hit me until yesterday ( Read more... )
