I just started tax class. Seems I have to take the basic before being allowed to take any advanced courses. Of course, the first class (Tues & Thurs, 3 hours each day, runs until Nov. 6th) was mostly introductory with all of the usual boring stuff: introduce yourselves, this is the course syllabus, this is your textbook and workbook, blah, blah, blah. Went through some very basic stuff that I already know, looking at the syllabus we won't get into any new stuff for me for the next 4 class sessions. I'm so glad I took my knitting and sat in the back of the class. I managed to knit 5 rows on a baby blanket. Kept me awake, as did the massive amount of coffee I was drinking.
