somehow it's like a switch went off (or on) in my head and i have time for this journal again. yay! it's nice to be writing again even if it's just blather.
i have a yen to start theflophouse back up again. i posted about it just before my work exploded and never got to do anything about it, but i really want to get it going. i'm going to redo the format so it's a little more user-friendly for reccers, so if you're interested in being part of a multi-fandom rec community, drop me a comment here. it is located on LJ but i'm also pondering starting a dreamwidth version if there are enough people into the idea... anyway, there's that. cus i have SO MUCH FIC i need to rec, lol.
so let's talk human target. i love it. i love chance and winston's snarky friendship, i love love LOVE jackie earle haley in anything he does, i love how ames has the hugest creepy crush on guerrero and i hope to god something happens between them at some point because yeah, i ship it. i love ames, period, she is hilarious. i mean usually her character type isn't my favorite, because usually the girl is too over-the-top, but this actress does a great job and i really enjoy pretty much everything about her. actually i pretty much love everything about the show, full stop. and i totally agree with what melloniel said ages ago about mark valley being captain america. i'm on board. :3
i need to go to the movies soon. there are a shit-ton of things i still need to see before they go away. and i'm excited for green hornet and green lantern and a handful of other things... point is, my new year's resolution is to go to the movies more. which is going to be awesome for my already weak wallet, lol. saving up to find my own place, etc, but hey, i could stand to give up a few other things in favor of the movies. my addiction to the mac counter, for one... and forever 21's accessory room... i have so many headbands you guys, and EARRINGS my god. how did i become this person with this jewelry habit? idek.
........and let's not even discuss the next few tattoos i want to get, shall we?
i need a glass of wine. and maybe some dinner. dinner that resembles something other than cereal. le sigh, life is hard, et cetera. anyway, i'mma go read some fic and soak my feet, and then pack to go to lheena's tomorrow after work. yay booze, katamari and dr. who! best friday ever. XD
