(no subject)
my mind is still occupied with 'the magicians'. i think it's a strong contender for one of my yuletide requests this year, but i'm actually not sure if i could offer it. i'd be too intimidated by his style, i think. i love his way with words, and idk if i would manage to imitate it to my satisfaction. on the other hand, i know i'm definitely offering scott lynch again, and depending on the new book (!!!!! MERE MONTHS AWAY!!!!!!) i might request it too. other contenders thus far are caprica, the demon's lexicon, shakespeare (but how to choose a play, augh), hearts in atlantis, inglourious basterds... too many others. ;)
had a busy, if quick-moving, day at work today. now am home, had pizza and some wine, am watching 'middlemarch' with mom. have new exciting RP prospects on the horizon, finally got some inspiration for my operation80 fic, and don't have to set an alarm to wake up to tomorrow.
