i believe i'm the only person out there not wetting myself in anticipation of PotF at TR today. hn. instead i think i'll go put up something for spock at the musebox. that will make me extremely happy. i do owe some TR tags, and i plan to get to them, but probably not til after lunch. *nod*
so i bought myself extra icons and have been uploading like crazy and want to do another icon meme to show them off, lol. but i don't actually want to fiddle w/all that coding, i just want to go use them like, in comments and stuff. so post entries, flist, or comment here so i can take these babies for a spin. XDDDDDD eta i just found this one and it is so awesome i had to change the icon for this post. algkjslkfdlsdkf. if i find a hi-res copy of the picture that icon is made from, i might be making myself a new journal layout. asl;kgjsdlkf!!!!!
am about 2/3 of the way through "sunshine" by robin mckinley and am really, really loving it. it's so unlike the damar series in style and form, but her writing is so good i just can't put it down. the world she's created is really interesting too, sort of like the southern vampire series in the way it's like our world except everybody knows about supernatural stuff, but darker and scarier. i'd write a crossover fic w/this and SPN in a hot second; sam and dean would be SO at home in this world.
i'm working at lush a lot this week. *weeps* the money will be really nice, but jesus, i hate having no time to myself. haaaaaaate it. i'm going to try like hell to switch so i'm not working on sunday so i can go out to troy for the victorian stroll; i haven't been out there since like april or some crazy shit, that's really uncool. plus the stroll is amazing. anyone in the albany area or who can get to the albany area should try to head up there this sunday for what's essentially a christmas parade of people in victorian dress. it's awesome. :3
anyways. i'm tired. i want to reach into my brain and pull out some scenes for the white collar AU, but idk if i have the brain for it.
