Hello New Monterey
Although there is great joy that comes with moving into a new place, there is also a lot of sweat and frustration. Moving is an enormous reminder of just how much crap we own and need to get rid of. Alternatively, it sparks opportunities to spend more money, which we shouldn't, on things that we want, but don't necessarily need.
Overall, even though our apartment is a mess and we have a long road of organization ahead of us, my attitude has escalated drastically since moving out of the last place. I cannot emphasize enough how much that place depressed me. It's hard when you have stuff, like furniture, and you can't even use it because your apartment is filled with your landlord's mom's crap. I don't care how cheap the rent was, I will NEVER live in a furnished apartment again.
