You were right, Shard! Jean is alive, and it was wonderful to see her, even if I did not hear what I wanted to hear.

So what would you do with a few years off?

A few years off? Huh. Never really thought about it. I guess I am taking them right now. I think I'd relax. Find a place where I wasn't necessarily needed to hero at all times.

On the other hand, I've found myself sort of thrown in with a bunch of Nexus heroes and doing some work there, so maybe I'm not really taking the time off I think I am.

Danke, Ara. Sorry I did not reply sooner. I went to speak to X-Factor.

They are of the opinion that Katzchen and I should take a few years off. For Kitty this would be good. She can go to school and enjoy her teenage years.

I am not sure what I am supposed to do. I am not so lucky as to have that chance.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure either. Solo heroing ain't really an option yet either, since you're still kinda recoverin' and all :/

It is not really something I like to do anyway. Logan can run off for months at a time, but I'm too much of a pack creature, I guess.

Thank you, Peter. I...am not entirely sure I'm not still dreaming. This is less a dream and more a nightmare, though.

So apparently Scott and X-Factor think that I should take a few years off. Katzchen I can understand - she should go to college and have a chance for a normal life. What am I going to do? I go out in public and even in the streets of New York people somehow find torches and pitchforks.
