I'm watching Apollo 13 for the millionth time. Love this movie. My nerdish obsession with space is in conflict with my astrophobia (yes, that's actually what the phobia is called). Chocobo breeding was the best thing about Final Fantasy VII!! One of our roomies is playing FFVII on our PS3 (since you can d/l some of the old games) and he just got to the Chocobo Ranch and I am FREAKING OUT! FFVII was my very first RPG and remains one of my very favorites (I think FFX is actually my favorite favorite).

Anyone else find it completely odd that I'm able to simultaneously be both phobic of and incredibly into space? I used to have this big picture book of planets when I was younger that I loved, but used to freak me out so badly I had to chuck it across the room.
