i went to the pet store to pick up a few things for my dragon scale's ten gallon and came home with
this gorgeous boy was actually a present for my mother (who was totally prepared! not an instance of thrust-fish-on-unprepared-person-as-gift, haha).
and this incredibly persnickety about being photographed boy is mine! i really hadn't intended to bring a new boy home but it was such love at first sight, i knew i would regret it if i left him there, and i had my dragon scale's old aquarium sitting empty so!
and here's the only someone clear photo i have of the aforementioned dragon scale a rather lackluster instagram (of course the only photo i've ever gotten him to sit still for)
