I wrote a poem

Carving by me

Sculpted strength blends with porcelain perfection
Echoes through the silence
The memory of your tranquility filling
Wrapped in a cocoon of you
Breath shared between one another
Gives life to me
Intoxicating. Addictive.
There is no beginning. Can be no end.
A chisel breaks through the rock
Inside becomes outside. Outside in
Earth quakes under desperate tools
Spurs growing, not yet cut, meet velvet muscle.
Spreading over porcelain, engraving ribbons into the soil
Smooth plains meet calloused edges.
Tracing swirls in a moment of devotion
Soon broken as the dagger slides through the stone
Trenches form filling. Salty and sweet
Absorb into one another
A drop of you
Within the essence of me
