About the convention. It was a really great experience! Rainy and cold, but it was awesome to see Scranton so proud of their city. Though, we encountered a lot of locals who were not too pleased by the madness of this weekend. The set up was really disorganized as were autographs and photos, but I'm sure next year (they are pretty likely to have one since their businesses were all booming) they'll get it all together. I think the downpours are mostly to blame for everyone running around like madpeople. Almost everyone, 13 cast members, was there on Saturday (everyone except the famous 4, BJ Novak/Ryan and Paul Lieberstein/Toby). I'm pretty sure BJ and Paul were there on Sunday for a session with the show writers since they both write.
We got to go to a Q&A with the cast Saturday evening which was well worth sitting on a crappy gym bleacher for over 2 hours. We had a fantastic view too! Ed Helms/Andy sang "Take a Chance" for the audience, and, if I wasn't before, I think I am now completely in love with him. haha. He, Leslie David/Stanley and Creed Bratton were definitely the crowd favorites. We also got to see the Scrantones perform the theme song along with Creed and Craig Robinson/Darryl from warehouse sing Radiohead's "Creep." Amazing!!
All in all a fantastic time! Woohoo for Scranton!
Creed and Kate/Meredith singing "The Pennsylvania Polka." I thought this was cute!
