Happy Easter! Or is it Merry Christmas....
Well since you all enjoyed my last view from our porch, here's another:
That all came down this morning after 6am, though it seems to have stopped. I think all the people who only come to church twice a year might have gotten all mixed up. "Wait a minute, wasn't it snowing last time we came to church? Doesn't it usually alternate - snow, no snow? What's going on here?"
I ditched my plan to break out my white capri pants in celebration of Easter, since I would have frozen my poor little legs off, but I stuck to my guns and wore my new gold-satin ballet slippers, and I made Matt pick me up at the curb so I wouldn't have to walk through the wetness to get to the car. Darn skippy. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
Matt knit me a hat last night, so I wore that too. It's snuggly and warm.
We're about to make a whole lot of green bean casserole to take to Easter dinner this afternoon. We don't know how many people will be there, but we figure we can bring any leftovers home and eat them ourselves - yum yum!
