So my curried darling asked me to give her a list of my top 10 favorite songs.
Oh wifey. I tried, I really did. I went through my playlists, looked through my computer and even went through the little CDs that I have. And you know what I realized? Nothing. Hah!
I don't do favorites, not when it comes to songs. I might have favorite genres, but those are basically all the musical styles that I like. And I'm pretty easy to please that way. Also, I'm a top 40 whatever-popular-at-the-moment-whore. My tates tend to run towards the bland and the unoriginal, and I follow the masses like a blind, black sheep who tries to sneak in classical music once in a while.
So what I've done is just list 10 songs that I like and can bear to listen to over and over again without self-inducing an aneurysm. Is that good enough? Here it goes:

3. Marc Anthony "Tu Amor me Hace Bien"
4. Westlife "My Love" (Okay, so I like my boybands...)
5. Backstreet Boys "Quit Playing Games with my Heart"/ "I'll Be the One"/ "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" (Whaaa? I grew up in the 90's!)
6. O-zone "Dragostea din tei" (Cuz Betsy and cheesy Europop mix like Nutella and banana on a fried pancake. Yummy.)
7. Eminem "Without Me"
8. Beach Boys "Californian Girls"
9. Olivia Newton-John "Hopelessly Devoted to You"
10. Depeche Mode "I Promise I Will"
Honourable mention goes to the musical obsession of the moment, Thalia's "Tu y Yo".

I rang in the New Year's with an allergic reaction to something...I think it's an ingredient in this lotion I used, but I'm sure. The fact that the lotion has about 35 ingredients isn't helping me narrow down my allergy, either. But in any case, I'm now stuck with a rash on both legs, arms and on my left ear (don't ask---I don't know why either). *growls* MUST.NOT.SCRATCH.AIEEEEEE!!!
On the bright side, I finally saw both "300" (yes, finally!) and "Sweeney Todd". The first was cool, exciting and OMM GERARD BUTLER!!!; the latter was fantastic filmaking, macabre and entertaining, the full spectrum of emotions and OMM JOHNNY DEPP-SACHA BARON COHEN-ALAN RICKMAN- HAI THERE JAMIE CAMPBELL BOWER. :)
Now that the Stanford application is done, I should be getting a head start on the McGill Law one due for March 1 2008.
