Where do we go from here?

BAD NEW FIRST: Physics = failure. Chemistry = failure. Linear = my only hope and chance at redemption. So overall, my academics this term = faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiillll. *waves bye-bye to direct entry into Law at McGill*

GOOD NEWS: Exams are over. Yayness.

To do now:

  • Find a job -----> Get money ------> Buy things that I want, save up for traveling (hopefully I'll be spending March break in Europe!!!!!!) -----> Get the shoes, clothes, books, footie merch, etc. that I want.
  • Uni applications. Stanford's deadline is Jan. 1st. (Yes, my parents convinced me to apply for at least one elite/Ivy League...Ugh.) ---> Get high school and college transcripts ----> Get teacher referrals ----> Make nice with academic counsellor.
  • Deca stuff: write out thank-you cards, get gift baskets to some staff, start organizing Leadership Dev. Day and Inter-Cegep Case Study Competition (both in March). Make sure hotes and trains are booked for Provincials in Toronto (Feb. 11-12). Finish website with fellow exec Dany.
  • Violin. PRACTICE. Get students and teach? -----> INCOME. Decide whether or not to audition for Natl Youth Orchestra (they tour during summer). If yes, prepare material and recording sessions. (Oh boy. *sigh*)
  • Clean up house/room ---> Organize paperwork and class materials from past sessions ----> Finally get another bookshelve.
  • GO OUT WITH FRIENDS, CATCH UP ON LOST CUDDLING TIME AND SLEEEEEP.

I think that's it.

Went to see "The Golden Compass" today, after the Physics final of d00m, with Nana and Camille. Movie was meh, so-so...entertaining but certainly not an epic and nowhere as deep, subtle (to quote Nana: "HELLO EXPOSITIONARY DEVICES!") or fluidly delivered as the book.
However, this made me realize that it's due time that I re-read the Dark Materials trilogy. In English this time. *adds them to winter reading list* Because 7 years might just have been too long.

On my way home, I missed my bus (due to my other bus being late/caught up in traffic and snow/I don't know because I fell asleep the minute I got on it) and had to wait another hour for the next one. Being the idiot that I am, I decide to walk home, or at least until the bus catches up with me. Ended walking all the way home, thus spending 50 lovely minutes under the falling snow. My legs were soooo cold. And tired. And wet, because my boots found the best time to start leaking. As did my mp3, whose battery decided to die. *curses*

Okay, off to bed now.

reading, academics, to-do, the weather outside is frightful, movies
