Isn't it funny how things that you find so interesting can be really hard to do when you have to do them...
I love medieval history. I think it's fascinating. I'm reading stuff about the Pirenne thesis, which concerns the transition between the ancient and medieval world. Basically, it says that the re-establishment of trade is what got cities going again and set off all the development of the Middle Ages. It's amazing to think about! But because I'm researching it for assessment purposes (tutorial presentation for The City in History), I'm finding it really hard to just keep reading!
It's frustrating when this happens. But I have to keep trying!
