Conquering fears - priceless
Today we conquered Le Metro. Okay not that big of a deal, but for me with my public transportation phobia, amazing. (Yes I should be desensitized from the time David made us go over the bridge to ....Brooklyn!) Still it was a great accomplishment that saved my legs to climb the 234 steps to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. As you see me above, I am still smiling. The heights didn't even bother me, except when Warren hung the camera over the side to take pictures of the traffic going around the crazy traffic circle.
What a day. It is gloriously cool again, but still sunny. How happy can you get? And Monet's Waterlilies, and not having to walk another three or four miles. Yeah.
All this and Wilco is playing Cincinatti when Warren has to be there for a tax conference. Can life get any better?
