i love my job so much that a couple of days a week, several times in the day, i talk myself out of quitting. i know at some point i will be doing more exciting things like redesigning their website and playing with new photo equipment but for now i'm still working on this bullshit project that has been passed down to me. eh.. it could be worse i guess.
i had drum lesson #2 wednesday and i have to say that i think i have the best drum teacher i could've asked for. i feel like i've improved tremendously after just 2 lessons! woo!
the weekend was fun. elizabeth and i went to a couple of bars and then i woke up saturday and went to brunch at an australian themed place called the Sunburned Cow with susan, ryan, and a few others. I tried vegimite and almost puked. the bloody marys were fantastic and plentiful though. there's something about having a buzz mid-day on a sunny saturday. - speaking of, the weather has been in-fucking-credible. this is one of the mildest winters i've experienced. i LOVE it. but i'm sure when summer rolls around i'll be hating it...
after brunch ryan wanted to go get a tattoo. we went to a couple of places and he decided against it for the moment. but now i really want to do it. i think i want to wait and let kevin do it for me when i come home for the summer or something.
i got invited to an ice cream party with alterior motives. it turned out to be some kind of business meeting of sorts for some kind of vitamin/skin care company. seemed way too amway-ish to me. it was actually kind of creepy to me. i think i'm just totally not a salesperson. different strokes for different folks i guess.
