The Divorce
Upon picking up my kids from R. yesterday, I informed him that Oregon requires "Parenting Through Divorce" class as part of divorce proceedings.
He flipped.
"Are they going to pay me any lost wages for having to take this class?" And so on and so forth... How dare the state require such a thing, etc.
I explained that the two offered in my county are a Wednesday night or a Saturday.
So he went off on 'well, he certainly has no need of such a class and if he takes the Wednesday night one he'll be tired the next morning.'
