I have toppled off of the geek precipice, into the bottomless void of Warhammer 40k. And yet, I'm kinda ok with that. It's a ridiculously expensive hobby, but I have a friend with too much expendable cash and a spare Ork army just sitting around, waiting to be assembled and painted. He said he might cut me a deal on the army if I paint it for him. I'm going to haul my model train layout out of storage, tear it down, and rebuild for terrain so we can all play at my house. I realize that this is a dark and dangerous path, but at least I get to paint more pretty figurines.
