i made this list of korean dramas, movies and television shows for lauren but since i spent so much time on it, i thought i'd place the list here... enjoy

ok... some movie and drama recommendations and tv shows.

variety shows [to get you into the entertainers]

1. star king 
2. star golden bell [some episodes that pops out... the one with sung si kyung and suju... the reactions sikyung oppa gives... amazingness... and most suju ones... the one with epik high and brian... the old clips where they try to play a sort of pyramid game in english] 
3. family outing [you have to check this out.  hilarious.  like episode 5-6 and 19-20 and the one with bi was amazingness... just saw the episode with junjin... 11. super junior fullhouse [they try to learn english... best they come up with "you are so gorgeous"...   -_=''']
12. infinity challenge [parody of big bang's "haru haru" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqFDDztK9sA] [they also did a parody of boys over flowers but i couldn't watch.  junjin of shinhwa played the girl... ]

14. sang sang plus [the episode with dongwan and junjin was amazingness especially when they tried to translate a song to english... wannie is adorable]
15. happy shares company/man won happiness [two entertainers are given 1000 won for a week and they have to compete with each other to see who spends least]
16. we got married [haven't watched a lot, but it's pretty cute.  celebrities get together and act "married" and the show sorta documents married life]

18. [edit] Love Letter [season 1 with shinhwa was awesome, season 2 was great too.]  [omg i'm so so so so very sorry i forgot.  i can't believe i didn't see that.  i feel terrible now]

[edit] YSMM [omg total epik brain fart... how could i forget ysmm when it's got shinhwa telling the world that they used to shower togethter to drive away awkwardness and then proceed to divulge physical attributes and secrets about each memeber... or when dbsk's changmin told everyone the qualifications of the porn he watches... in front of his mother no less. ... so yeah epik brain fart!!!

2. project makeover [romantic comedy with the hockey guy from "my mighty princess" and he plays a loveable dork]
3. sympathy for lady vengance [black comedy, thriller, drama - i found it hilarious]
4. princess aurora [along the lines as sympaty for lady vengance]
5. king and the clown [drama, lee junki... nuff said]
6. 200 pounds beauty [romantic comedy]
7. attack of the pin up boys [must watch - total crack]

9. windstruck [romantic comedy... sort of a prequel to my sassy girl]
10. spin kick [well... dongwan takes his shirt off and acts totally dorky]
11. the beast and the beauty [romantic comedy... adorableness]

13. spy girl [romantic comedy with gong yoo who was adorable]
14. my boyfriend's type b [if i remember correctly you saw this one rite?  i'm not sure so i'm recommending it]
15. baby and me [loved it.. the baby was adorable]
16. boy meets boy [exactly as the title says... boy... meets... boy]
17. s diary [comedy... somewhat of a romantic comedy... girl from my kim sam soon in it... and gong yoo and sooru... ]
18. she's on duty [romantic comedy... again chick from my lovely sam soon and gong yoo]
19. 100 days with mr arrogant [romantic comedy]
20. daisy [drama, thriller.  i didn't like these movies much but the last fight scene was awesome so i'd say it was slightly worth it]
21. antique bakery [waffle japanese guy in coffee prince... openly gay... gotta love the gay]
22. virgin snow [drama... a little long... but it's got lee junki in it... so it was good =)]
23. love of the north and south [romantic comedy about a girl from north korea and a guy from south korea... kinda crack]
24. my scary girl... [romantic comedy]
25. my wife's a gangster [romantic comedy?  hahaha... no, but totally funny and crazy and crack... i've must have seen it at least three times... the part where the wife "takes advantage" of her husband... no words.  just laughter]
26. fly daddy fly [lee junki... i went thru a lee junki and gong yoo period]
27. seducing mr perfect [umg jong hwa and daniel henney... sigh agent zero]
28. mr handy [haven't seen it, but it's got some good recommendations]
29. hello school girl [haven't seen it yet, but it's got kangin from suju ... ]
30. restless [romance drama... well, i didn't like it, but katy loved it and the guy had pretty puppy eyes]
31. i'm a cyborg but that's okay [bi yodels... ]
32. ghost house [comedy with ghosts]
33. millionaire's first love [won bin ... romantic drama]
34. marrying the mafia 1 [didn't finish 2 and didn't watch 3... first one was pretty cute]
35. the good, the bad, the weird [haven't seen it but it's got great reviews]
36. speed scandal [haven't watched yet but it's got the guy from my sassy girl]
37. [edit] our school E.T. [just watched it and had to put it on the list.  loved this movie.  loved that it didn't really have a central love story as with most films of this genre.  and sooru was awesome.  i wished i had a teacher like him.  and i liked how the film addressed some of the issues students face today, that school really isn't a place to teach and development of social interactions, but a place to prepare for exams.  and that the stress of it all is causing serious health issues that could cause long term harm and an early exposure to disease such as high blood pressure and diabetes, which is an old person's disease... and the guy from "boys over flower" is in it, though i liked the boxer guy more.  and the chubby mama's boy.  i just want to squeeze his cheeks together and then pinch it, after which i would poke his belly and have him shout like the pillsbury dough boy... um... um... um... wast that too graphic a dive into the inner workings of my mind?]

1. who are you [guy is cute and gorilla guy from coffee prince in it... so cute... ah... lee eun... he will be missed. i seriously thought he was just one drama/movie away from being a lead.]

11. strongest chil woo [haven't seen it yet, but it's got eric mun and gorilla guy from coffee prince, lee eun - rip]

17. queen of the game [guy from 200 pounds of beauty... i laugh at random parts... it's okay... quite antsy tho]
18. conspiracy in the court / seoul's sad song [didn't like it but the soundtrack was really good... and only watched because chun hee was in it]

 
if you want more drama recs you have to ask katy.  i'm more of a movie person.  it's just shorter and easier.
